Who We Support

We provide care and support for:

  • Adults aged 65+.
  • People with mobility issues and physical disabilities.
  • People with sensory impairments.
  • People living with long-term medical conditions, including Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer’s disease, and other forms of dementia.

Person-Centred Care

We involve people directly in developing their care plans and risk assessments, taking time to understand their needs, wishes, interests, and aspirations. Where appropriate, we work closely with families, advocates, and healthcare professionals involved in a person's support network.

We aim to build understanding of the communities and relationships that matter to each person and, where possible, support meaningful connection and help reduce social isolation.

Safe, Caring, and Effective

Our service is designed around the Care Quality Commission (CQC) fundamental standards of safe, caring, effective, responsive, and well-led care:

  • Rigorous recruitment vetting: Enhanced DBS checks, verified references, and full employment history.
  • Comprehensive staff training: Structured induction, mandatory training, supervision, and ongoing professional development.
  • Robust risk management: Person-centred care planning and individualised risk assessments.
  • Health & safety: Stringent safeguarding protocols, infection prevention, and safe working practices.
  • Clinical governance: Regular direct observations, quality assurance spot-checks, and internal audits.
  • Confidentiality: Secure, confidential handling of all personal and medical information.

Leadership and Quality Assurance

The service is led by Registered Manager Debbie Anne Louise Charlesworth. Each person supported has an assigned link worker responsible for helping maintain a consistent, high-quality service and regularly reviewing their care plan and risk assessment.
